2. How to cash in Kakao Pay points
There are two main ways to cash in Kakao Pay points.
2.1 How to use Gifticon Refund
1) Access the Kakao Talk Gift menu.
2) Buy a gifticon that can be purchased within the Kakao Pay points you currently have.
3) Select Kakao Pay points from the payment method.
4) Set the recipient as ‘I’ and give it to me.
5) Don’t use the gifticon you gave me until that expiration date.
6) After the expiration date, you can proceed with the refund and receive a cash refund of about 90% of the amount.
2.2 Method of reselling gift certificates
1) Access the Kakao Talk Gift menu.
2) Purchase a gift certificate that can be purchased within the Kakao Pay points you currently have.
3) Select Kakao Pay points from the payment method.
4) Set the recipient as ‘I’ and give it to me.
5) Gift certificates are resold in carrot markets or secondhand countries. At this time, if you sell them for about 90% of the regular price, they sell well.
6) Alternatively, after you change the gift certificate to a tributary gift certificate (New World Gift Certificate or Lotte Gift Certificate), you go to a gift certificate store that converts the gift certificate offline to cash (e.g., a shoe store near a department store).
There is no way to convert 100% of Kakao Pay points into cash. Kakao Pay can be converted into cash considering a fee of around 10%. If this 10% fee is a waste, it is the most economical way to use Kakao Pay points to deduct when purchasing goods.

2.3 How to use Naver Pay, Payco, and Hana Money
1) Click on the “Benefits” menu at the bottom of Kakao Pay
2) Click Alipay 100 won in the middle
3) Buy 50,000 won of Happy Money from the screen. Buy it with Kakao Pay points
4) In about 3 minutes, the code number of the Happy Money gift certificate will be generated, so write down the number and wait
5) Connect happy money, click on the exchange of the middle gift certificate, click the child on the left of the middle, enter the number, and charge it with the happy cash
6) After accessing Payco, click the top charging menu, and charge it with Happy Money gift certificate in the middle, and Happy Money 50,000 won
7) Press the switch button next to the charge in Payco Home again.
8) Send Naver Pay KRW 1 after clicking Export during Import to Screen export
9) Come to Payco Home again, press the currency exchange next to the charge, and if you have an account to receive, enter the amount immediately and receive it
By doing this, you can cash up to 50,000 won per day in Kakao Pay points. Even in this case, buy 50,000 won Ali Happy Money gift certificates for 47,000 won > 46,000 won when accumulating Payco > Naver 1 won, so the total fee is 1,001 won.
